Virtual Background allows user to hide whatever is going on in the video behind them and participate in a video conference without worrying about disturbances. It acts like a green screen and image/video can be set as the background.

Setup

1. Click on the little chevron next to Video and click 'Choose Virtual Background'

2. Choose one of the default background provided by zoom, and it will promptly download and show you a preview of how it will look. Click on the little plus sign to add other images/videos

3. You can upload other images to use as backgrounds. Unsplash provides some good background stock images for free and those can be found here. https://unsplash.com/collections/1887152/zoom-backgrounds. Open the image you want, then right click the image, then 'save as...' to save it to your computer. Then add that image as a new virtual background.
